About Ruhsun
I'm a Business educator currently teaching at SIS Medan, an international school in Indonesia, where I work with students from Secondary 3 through to IB Diploma Year 2, across both IGCSE and IBDP curriculums.
What makes my background different is that I didn't come straight from academia. Before teaching, I built a 5-year career in the corporate world as a Senior Sales Manager at Robi Axiata PLC, the second largest telecommunications company in Bangladesh. I managed territory sales, led teams, and worked directly with marketing, finance, and business strategy at an operational level.
I chose teaching because I believe Business is one of the most important subjects a student can study, and I want to make sure they learn it the right way, with real understanding, not just memorized definitions.
I'm patient, structured, and genuinely invested in each student's progress.

My lessons are practical, exam-focused, and grounded in real business experience. Before teaching, I worked as a Senior Sales Manager at Robi Axiata PLC, so when we discuss marketing strategy, finance, or business operations, I bring real examples from the corporate world, not just textbook theory.
A typical lesson starts by identifying your weak areas, then breaking down the concept clearly, followed by applying it to past paper questions. I focus heavily on exam technique — how to structure answers, use business terminology correctly, and maximise marks in Paper 1 and Paper 2.
My lessons are suitable for IGCSE Business Studies (Secondary 3–4) and IB Diploma Business Management (SL & HL). Whether you need to build foundations or push for a 7, I'll tailor every session to your specific needs.
