About Ema
I'm a former qualified project manager of 3+ years (Prince2 Practitioner qualified, Senior Project Manager within the Civil Service), with a wealth of experience working in public sector projects within the Civil service, the Environment Agency and Manchester City Council, including IT projects, Organisational Change, Digital and Infrastructure, down to Events Management. As a Junior PM I was assigned as a troubleshooter for Projects in trouble, and using my pragmatism, tenacity, creativity and project tools, was able to successfully turn them around and deliver successfully. I'm all about empowering people, sharing best practice, and helping make things better, and since moving away from Project Delivery, I have taken these qualities and approaches with me into the world of Holistic Therapy. I'm passionate about learning, teaching and promoting positive ways of working.

My teaching style is about combining robust and relevant content, with an honest, pragmatic and positive view of the practicalities, challenges and aspects to be aware of. I am all about empowering people, and so I don't propose to have the ideal solution to everything, but my perspective incorporates the detailed view to the strategic, and includes wide-ranging scenarios, situations and scales and types of projects. Lesson lengths will vary, from 1-2 hours for coaching/troubleshooting, to 2-3 hours for lessons for complete beginners. My lessons are suitable for adults, but I could tailor the content and presentation to be appropriate for interested and engaged teenagers.
