About Damir
My journey in self-studying has started in 4th grade, and since then I never looked back, as in my opinion, school program sometimes hides the most beautiful aspects of math - creativity. As my love for the subject grew, so did my expertise. Today, I can confidently say that I have the skills to guide others in mastering mathematics—whether it’s for test preparation (I scored 800/800 on SAT Math and currently hold a 4.0/4.0 GPA in my mathematics bachelor’s degree) or for the wish to learn the subject deeper than most tests require. I’ve also earned medals at both national and international Physics and Astrophysics Olympiads, where solving complex problems requires deep mathematical understanding. So, whether you want to learn basics or advanced concepts in math/physics - you have come to the right place!

My lessons are not standardized, as I try to take a personal approach for each student. During my lessons, I like to show my students how mathematics is more of an art, and it is not as boring as school makes it sound. It can be so much more exciting, really. One of my favorite teaching tools is the question "Why?", as it makes students think about the question in a more fundamental way than just remembering the answer to it. I’ve self-studied most of my life, so I understand your struggles and challenges when learning on your own, and I know how to guide you through them. If you are interested, let's have a trial lesson and conquer the mathematics together! P.S My students are typically high school or bachelor students, but if you are not in those categories, we still may have a trial lesson to determine how useful my lessons are going to be!
