I am a former math teacher with a masters in mathematics education, certified to teach grades 7-12. I love connecting with students, understanding what drives them, and helping them break down concepts into simple, manageable chunks.
Outside of work, I love to hike with my dog and spend time with my friends.

I give my students ample opportunities to determine how to solve the problem themselves, and ask them questions to prompt their thinking so when an assessment comes, they are prepared to think in that same way.
