About Ishana
I am currently a high school student who has completed Math IB and I have finished Math 10-1, 20-1, 30-1 and 31 with above an 80% in each course. I am taking all three sciences along with computer science where all four require mathematical and critical thinking skills. Outside of school I have served on my school's Model United Nations team for over 3 years, 2 years as an executive member and I have served as Chief of Staff for SWCHSMUN 2024. Additionally, I am also part of a community First Robotics team, where I serve as the lead programmer and secondary technician. I was an Air Cadet for over 5 years, I have won many awards, been promoted to Warrant Officer Second Class, and I also received my Glider Pilot's License from Transport Canada. Besides all these nerdy hobbies, I also enjoy sliding down snowy slopes on my snowboard and baking delicious treats for my friends and family.

I have served as a Royal Canadian Air Cadet for over 5 years, and in my time I have earned the award of "Excellence in Instruction" at my squadron. My fellow junior cadets have stated that my lessons are fun, engaging, and understandable. I love using visual methods to teach and providing students with engaging activities. I aim to teach students from kindergarten to grade 10 to help strengthen and create a deeper understanding of fundamental math concepts.
