Mr. Rubus helped me pass biology. I swear he explained things better than any of my other professors and in a way that made me truly understand the content. Not to mention he made the learning fun and interesting!

Professor Rubus is an exceptional teacher who I had the privilege of learning biology and chemistry from. He truly goes above and beyond for every student to ensure everyone understands the material. His engaging and entertaining teaching style, filled with humor and real-life examples, makes complex concepts accessible and captivating. Beyond his exceptional teaching skills, Professor Rubus is extremely personable. As a student who at times felt outcasted due to the age difference between myself and my peers, his classroom was always an inclusive environment where I felt comfortable to participate, ask questions, and seek additional help as necessary. Thanks to his teaching, I had a strong knowledge of the fundamental sciences. This carried me through undergraduate and graduate school, and I’m about to graduate with a PharmD this upcoming spring. I am immensely grateful for his influence, and I highly recommend him!

Jacob was my supervisor in a laboratory setting for close to 3 years. His enthusiasm for knowledge and learning is inspiring and contagious. He is a very patient, kind, and empathetic instructor and I learned so much under his leadership. I highly recommend him as an instructor. You're absolutely going to learn AND have fun doing it!

Jacob is extremely intelligent and has a strong knowledge base in science, mathematics and logic. He is very patient and can arrange his teaching method based on the student's ability to process and understand the subject. Jacob was a super great tutor and helped me pass physics 2. He was also a great biology lab instructor. He’s super patient and went out of his way to help me on multiple occasions, oftentimes out of his set “office hours”. I highly recommend him.

Jacob is one of the best tutor’s I’ve ever had! I utilized him all four years of my biology undergraduate education.
