About Kailey
I’m a junior in high school who plans to major in education, especially math. I’ve always done well in advanced math classes, and I genuinely enjoy explaining concepts to others. I’ve previously tutored math through several school and community organizations, so I have experience working with different students and learning styles.
I’m patient, organized, and take tutoring seriously. My goal is to help students feel more confident in math, whether they need homework help, test prep, or just clearer explanations.

Teaching style:
I focus on explaining things simply and step-by-step instead of just giving formulas. I make sure students understand why something works, not just how to do it. I’m patient and adjust how I explain based on how the student learns best:)
Typical lesson:
We quickly review past work, go over the topic they’re learning, do a few problems together, then I let them try some on their own while I help if they get stuck.
What makes me different:
I explain math in normal language, not textbook terms, and I try to make students feel comfortable asking questions instead of being embarrassed!
Who I teach:
Math for kids and teens: Anything Algebra 2 and below, plus basic statistics. Good for homework help, test prep, or building stronger foundations.
