About Shivar
As a former South African Chess Champion with years of competitive experience, I am passionate about helping students unlock their potential and master the game of chess. My lessons are designed to be engaging, practical, and tailored to each student’s unique needs—whether you're a beginner learning the fundamentals or an advanced player aiming to sharpen your competitive edge. I take a structured and supportive approach, focusing on strategic thinking, tactical mastery, and decision-making. Through interactive lessons, real-game analysis, and personalized feedback, I help students develop a deeper understanding of the game while improving their problem-solving skills. I teach exclusively in English and welcome students of all ages and skill levels.
