About Akeem
Hello!
My name is Akeem and I am a former Big Four employee who has qualified as an ICAEW Chartered Accountant, with first time passes in all exams. I also have a First Class degree in Accounting & Finance.
I understand how daunting Accounting can appear and hope to help students overcome these struggles and make Accounting feel simple.
During my studies, I felt the best way to understand accounting was to visualise the accounting concepts and make use of creative learning techinques in order to simplify complex issues. Accounting is at it's core just debits and credits - breaking it down to this simple level can help with understanding how many concepts work regardless of the complexity.
Hopefully working together can make Accounting enjoyable, my end goal is to help students appreciate how interesting Accounting can be and how important it is in the financial world.
