I love my ballet lessons with Ann. I never thought that adults could do ballet. Thank you to Ann for suggesting this for me and I am happy that I gave it a go. During the lockdown, I joined a yoga class by Anna White. It was just fresh air during a lockdown. After a while, I asked Anne to give me ballet lessons, just to see if I am actually capable of doing it? Anne explained to me that ballet could be quite challenging, but if you take it easy and follow my instructions you would be able to achieve your goal.
After a first assessment, she told me what kind of health issues I have. Slowly Anne had increased my ballet exercises. It is wonderful, how dance can change your life, and contribute to your overall mood and wellbeing. I cannot imagine my life without ballet anymore. I think ballet lessons should be included on NHS as physiotherapy for people with body structure and other problems.
Anne is an excellent teacher and an amazing human being, who can easily find rapport with her pupils.
