About Jaimie
I am passionate about supporting people to live a life that is meaningful to them.
I aim to provide a service that is holistic and focuses on the learner as a whole. I have experience in a variety of educational settings and sectors including disability sector, mainstream and special educational settings as well as the community services sector.
My qualifications and experience within the Educational sector has provided me with tools to deliver an individualised experience. My main aim is for a child or young person to feel successful and confident with their learning in any setting.

Smile Centre caters for the individual between ages 7-18 years with 1:1 sessions tailored for the young person’s learning and developmental needs.
Traditional tutors focus on academics. We use a holistic approach with children and young people with special needs, communication difficulties, learning disabilities and learning difficulties (including Dyspraxia, Dyscalculia, students with ADHD), and young people with trauma related needs.
We use a practical approach to teaching and learning that allows us to increase trust and engagement with students with complex, unmet learning needs and successfully improve all students’ self-regulation, development and academic achievement. The strategies incorporate evidence-based trauma-aware teaching, positive education, disability awareness, and wellbeing practices.
I am a highly experienced Special Education practitioner who has 6+years of teaching experience in the U.K and Australia. I also have experience in working in the community services sector across Victoria, particularly with trauma, and adolescent and youth out-of-home care.
