About Nayoon
Hi, everyone! I am an undergraduate studying Computing at ANU. I completed my junior college education in Singapore, and received the highest grade, A in H2 Mathematics as part of the rigorous Singapore A-level curriculum. I have tutoring experience in math for 4 years to a diverse group of students, primarily from primary to secondary schools in Singapore. My students, who were preparing for the Singapore PSLE and O-level Elementary Math and Additional Math, experienced significant improvements in their understanding of concepts and exam performance. I believe that patience, friendliness, and encouragement are the cornerstones of effective tutoring - hence will create a positive and supportive environment for students’ learning and growth. I aim to offer a personalised learning experience tailored to students’ individual needs and learning style. Our lessons will be designed in an interactive and engaging manner instead of just listening and taking notes. There will be no silly questions, so feel comfortable asking questions and expressing your thoughts!

I would first identify student’s current understanding, as each student would have different areas for improvement. We will set achievable goals aligned with academic objectives, and make sure the student is actively involved in the learning process with problem-solving exercises, discussions, and regular revisions! I will make sure the student truly understands the concept, and teach techniques on how to tackle each question.

Nayoon is an incredible teacher who is extremely flexible to cater to your needs.
