About Sboniso
Siboniso is a passionate Kitchen Instructor in the Department of Hospitality and Tourism at Durban University of Technology (DUT). With a strong commitment to wellness and education, Siboniso leads on-campus nutrition and healthy-eating initiatives that empower individuals to take charge of their health. This in-home culinary lesson introduces essential healthy cooking principles in a comfortable, familiar setting. Participants will learn practical meal planning techniques and receive personalized recipe guidance that supports nutritious, balanced eating at home.
The experience includes chef-led, hands-on cooking skills training, with a live demonstration on preparing and cooking a wholesome, delicious meal using everyday ingredients. The lesson concludes with simple, engaging “move your body” activities, encouraging an active lifestyle and reinforcing the connection between healthy cooking and overall wellness.
