About Lola
I am a passionate ESL tutor with 12 years of experience teaching high school and college students. Over the years, I have taught 150-200 students, helping them strengthen their English skills, gain confidence, and achieve their academic and personal goals. Teaching ESL is not just a job for me—it is a way to make a meaningful impact on students’ lives.
My teaching philosophy centres on practical, interactive, and personalised lessons. I use real-life examples, discussions, and exercises to develop speaking, writing, reading, and listening skills. I also emphasise confidence, critical thinking, and effective communication, ensuring that students are prepared to succeed in any situation.
Some of my proudest moments include students speaking fluently for the first time, writing confidently, improving their grades, and actively participating in class. Witnessing these transformations motivates me to continue teaching with creativity, dedication, and passion.
I aim to provide a positive, supportive, and inspiring learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and growing. Teaching ESL is my passion, and I am committed to helping students reach their full potential while enjoying the journey of learning English.
