Maria is an absolutely amazing flute teacher and a wonderful person. I love every minute of our weekly lessons, which she makes fun and rewarding regardless of what we've playing. Her beautiful quality of playing is inspiring and I love that she plays a lot with me throughout the lesson - alternating with scales and technical warm ups, alternating bars of a piece I'm working on, playing duets or improvising. Maria has lots of excellent methods to improve my playing, including posture and nuances of embouchure, and my sound quality has come a long way since I started lessons with her over a year ago. I'm also lucky to have heard Maria play solo in concert and can not recommend her highly enough as a flutist and teacher.

I played flute in high school, but then it lay dominant for over 20 years. As a mature aged learner, I couldn’t have asked for a more welcoming, encouraging and professional tutor. Maria has helped me progress my skills and increase my confidence significantly. Recently I had the pleasure to listen to Maria play at a recital - simply beautiful.
