About George
I am a Change Leader - I help senior leaders fix their most critical issues, particularly leaders in large banks.
Often their issues are in communication. Communication is so key, so I am a big believer in getting the basics right. Words, accent, smile.
Seriously - getting the basics right will put you streets ahead of the competition, as your listeners/audience will respect you and want to understand what you are trying to say. This is 80% of the task.
I learned a fun way - by watching"The Simpsons" in German and writing down the phrases I wanted to say, plus variations, until I knew I could practice it on a friend the next day. Then I did. And it worked. And I was hooked!
Through this, I am still fluent today (25 years since being on my Year out in Austria) and I have several friends from my year there, who I am still in touch with (in German). And it is a wonderful feeling.
This is why I want to share this unique method of learning with you. So you too, can experience this JOY.

Like I said, "we chat, you learn".
My style is: we speak German - what ever your level, we'll be speaking from Day 1. Speaking is afterall the most important aspect - all I ever wanted to do was speak in a foreign language - so that's what we will do!
My German teacher did this to me and it is by far the best way. I still know things he taught me, after 35 years! I can help from age 7 to 18. (I did my degree in German, studied in Austria for a year, and have kept up my German e.g. I worked at Deutsche Bank for 4 years. )
Calls would be 30 mins and would be on topics that interest you. The aim is to be able to talk to people and have fun! (Learning can be based around that. i.e. yes, there is some grammar to learn, but we'll only do that, if it is preventing you from saying what you want to say.
So the output of every lesson will be: You know how to say what you want to say...and can have a brief conversation with someone about it and enjoy it!
