About Amelie
Hi, I'm a bilingual French speaker with a deep passion for languages and communication. I was taught in French until the age of 15 and went on to study Geography at the University of Bristol. Having grown up in a bilingual environment, I understand the challenges of learning a second language and how rewarding it can be to achieve fluency. Teaching French allows me to share not only the language but also the culture and confidence that come with truly understanding it. I aim to create a relaxed, supportive environment where students feel comfortable learning at their own pace. My approach to tutoring is friendly, tailored and interactive. I tailor each lesson to the student's goals, whether it's conversational fluency, exam preparation, or grammar support. Lessons are usually 60 minutes and include a mix of speaking, listening, reading, and writing activities using real-life materials. I'm half French, fluent, and was taught in French until age 15. I studied Geography at the University of Bristol. Whether you're a beginner, preparing for exams, or just looking to improve your skills, I'll create lessons that work for you.
