About Levan
I am a graduate student in Toronto, studying in the field of Business and Commerce. However, from the childhood languages have been my passion, as well as very intuitive and interesting for me. I speak 5 languages. English, Russian, German, Georgian and Italian. I would be very happy to take Georgian or Russian speaking students and teach them with the help of their own language. However, my German or Italian is not fluent so that would not be an option.
I am 26 years old and have been studying or working in English since I was 15. I believe I can be of a help to those who know english at a very basic or intermediate level. However, please do not contact me if you don't know english at all, I do not have experience in teaching students from 0. Hope this, gives a bit of idea on myself and study process. For people wishing to enhance their understanding of Academic English: Reading and analysis of medium level academic text on a first lesson, to understand the level of proficiency of a pupil. From the 2nd lesson onwards, similar structure will be present. Specific Academic text will be selected depending upon proficiency level of a student, then future exercises will be subject to change depending on strengths and weaknesses of a student as well as on an area in which one wishes to excel (Reading, Writing, etc.).
For people wishing to enhance their understanding of conversational English: We will watch movies on english from different parts of the world. This will help you gain listening skills tailored to different 'accents' of English language. In addition, it will give you all the necessary vocabulary used to construct sentences in English. Moreover, you will learn how to correctly hold a constructive dialogue in English, as well as various 'jargons' and acceptable forms of wording in conversational English
