About Silan
Hello, I’m Silan, a first year university student at UQ studying a Bachelor of Advanced Business (Honours). I am a dedicated and patient individual who believes that every student has the potential to succeed with the right guidance. I love to help students grow, overcome challenges, and discover their strengths. As an individual with a younger sibling who also struggles in school, I am able to fully break down complex questions and topics into simple, easy to understand language. My teaching style is calm, encouraging, and well-structured. My goal, as a tutor, is to create a learning environment where students feel supported, motivated, and confident from the very first lesson! I also have a blue card so I am able to work with children.

My lessons can vary: from 60 minutes to up to 2 hours long with the first lesson free (half an hour). My Math lessons are for primary students up to Year 9.
