About Sophie
I am a passionate, goal-driven learner that graduated Year 12 in 2022. I have commenced studying a Bachelor of Physiotherapy. Throughout my primary and secondary education, I had many opportunities to embrace my love of learning and was surrounded by people invested in my education. I would love the opportunity to be able to support other students the same way I was supported throughout my education journey. I know facilitating learning is invaluable and the attention-to-detail that can be provided in tutoring sessions have the capacity to build confidence in a student.

I look to focus on what the student is currently learning in the classroom. I believe it is critical to explore key concepts aligned with the curriculum. I also take interest in investigating the students interests in their academic endeavours, such as specific applications of biological concepts. I believe that one-on-one lessons with a student are invaluable in their education as it gives the opportunity to understand content at greater depth and provides the opportunity for the student to ask questions and invest in their own education.
Depending on the frequency of lessons and the level of content, lessons can be either 30, 45 or 60 minutes as desired by the student. I am experienced with helping students of all ages, including those with learning challenges.
I am experienced working with children, particularly those with learning challenges. I hold a working with vulnerable people check (NSW and ACT) and a current First Aid certificate.
