About Sieena
Hello there! I'm a first-year Nursing student at The University of Plymouth who relates to the struggle of passing Maths and Biology. For any aspiring medics or Allied Healthcare professions, I can promise to provide the extra support needed in order to achieve your desired grades. Having tutored for the past year, I'm still quite familiar with the GCSE Maths spec and mark scheme. Maths is a tricky subject. I won't pretend that it's easy. However, with the right methods that work for YOU I can promise that it will become more manageable. Together, we'll help build the confidence needed to believe and achieve your desired grade. For A-level, I achieved an A for OCR A Biology. As a Nursing student, I have to keep this knowledge up to date and a great way to remember is to teach. The step up from GCSE is quite intense for Biology and if you find yourself struggling to adjust, we'll work together to build on your foundations and develop an effective revision plan. Practising different question types and making synoptic links are my speciality!

For any students struggling with Maths or Biology, I can promise to provide the extra support needed in order to achieve your desired grades. Lessons typically last for an hour each at a rate of £13 per hour. My teaching style is often personalised and tailored to my students. As a tutor, I often target weaknesses and basics in order to build up confidence and a solid foundation in a subject. Typically, I ask my students to prepare a list of topics that they find difficult or need the most help with and we start from there. Exam practice always comes after a lesson in theory, to ensure that the student understands the content before applying it. Lesson slots are on Friday evenings and Saturday mornings.
