About Emma
-I am a first year medical student with a passion to help others achieve their best abilities and expand younger generation's knowledge -Throughout my academic career, expanding both mine and my peers learning has been a key factor in achieving my grades -During secondary school, I volunteered at my former primary school's afterschool clubs. Here I often helped children with their homework by explaining key concepts and making their understanding of their tasks complete

-My tutoring approach involves thorough explanations of core content and encouraging my students to make detailed, easy-to-follow notes that they can revise from -I use colourful diagrams to aid learning and help students picture the content -At the end of the session, I practise active recall and give my students questions that help to gauge their understanding -Typically, my lessons last between 1-2 hours -I am open to teaching GCSE and Key stage 4 students -As part of my medical school application, I have had a full DBS check
