About Márton
I am Márton, a first-year BME student, studying to be a mechatronics engineer. For a long time I couldn't decide in what direction (and where) to continue my higher education, so I tried a bit of everything during my high school years. I completed my Matura (A-levels) in math (A*), physics (A) and english (A*), and now I would like to help those who are in the same situation as I was in April achieve their goals. For those who want to get a good result but don't want to waste time on unnecessary memorization, or who have more distant ambitions, perhaps wanting to continue their studies abroad. I believe that I can provide good guidance in these matters, and at the same time, I can enrich other prospective university students with practical knowledge.

This is how I teach: My methods and techniques In online classes, I basically use two methods: 1. Interactive digital whiteboard: In my classes, we work on a shared online platform (Miro/OneNote), where both you and I write at the same time. This ensures that you stay focused throughout and that important information is included in a note. 2. I work on the assignment in screen sharing, while you can record the important things in your own notebook. Illustration: Wherever possible, I use visual tools (e.g. GeoGebra for functions) so that you can see what we are talking about, because starting from myself, this sometimes makes problems that seem complicated at first surprisingly transparent. Analogies: I try to explain complex theories through everyday examples, so that you don't just copy them into your notebook, but also understand them, so that you don't just learn a formula, but grow with new and new solution methodologies. A typical lesson: We work within a structured framework for efficiency, but always tailored to your current needs: "Check-in" (5-10 minutes): We go over what happened in school, what the plan is, where you got stuck, what types of tasks have caused/are causing difficulty recently. Homework and previous questions (10-15 minutes): We look at critical points to avoid building on shaky foundations. Conquering the new topic/practice (30-35 minutes): After discussing the theoretical foundations, we solve tasks together, gradually increasing the difficulty of the examples. Independent experience of success (10 minutes): At the end of the lesson, you solve an example on your own with my mentoring, so that you can close the session with confidence. Why is it worth studying with me? Multilingualism: We can also teach classes in English, depending on your needs, if the goal is to learn the technical language of mathematics (for later studies abroad, for English-language training). "Common language": I am also a student. I have recent experience with the baccalaureate, I know the tricks that can definitely help you acquire knowledge, and I also know what is not worth wasting time on. Problem-focused and patience: There is no "bad question". We tackle a problem until the picture comes together. Exam focus: If you are preparing for A-levels, I not only teach math, but also strategy: how to allocate your time, what to pay attention to in the assignments. Who can I help? Basically for high school students: Catch-up, preparation for a paper or intermediate/advanced level preparation for the high school diploma, but I welcome anyone interested in other maths (hopefully I'll be able to tell you something new :)
