I try to see what the problems are that learners struggle with, and I try to direct my help towards helping them understand those problems better. I try to get to the foundation of why people don't understand certain concepts. I try to find easy ways for students to understand certain concepts. Importantly, I try to test the knowledge and skills of learners to see how able they are to master the content. I work through examples, try to see how they would approach it, and then give my input.
