About Georgette
As someone who has recently finished secondary school, I know what it is like to be doing exams like GCSEs, and to struggle with particular topics but with a bit of extra help it can be really satisfying to start getting things right so I want to help you to get to that point as well! As a tutor I want you to feel comfortable to interrupt me and ask me to clarify as these lessons are for you. Also, I really love my subjects and would love to share this love with others. I used to find maths quite tricky but now I am studying a very maths based degree which I think shows that you don’t need to be held back by finding something hard!

I achieved 9 grade 9s at GCSE and 3 A*s in A-Level biology, chemistry and maths so feel I am qualified to tutor up to GCSEs in these subjects. Lessons will be held online on Teams and be an hour long. As a student you can come to me with any particular areas of difficulty across these subjects. This may be through the form of homework questions that you are struggling to complete that we can go through together, and I can find similar practice problems for us to have a go at; or it may be there’s a specific topic you want further explanation about or extra practice with. We can share screens to show any workings we do.
