About Ria
I am a first-year Biochemistry student at University College London with a strong academic background and a genuine passion for teaching. I specialise in Biology, Chemistry, and Spanish, subjects in which I achieved top grades: A* in Biology and Chemistry, A in Spanish at A Level, and grade 9s in all three at GCSE. Having sat these exams recently, I understand exactly what exam boards are looking for and can pass on effective strategies for success. I have been tutoring for over a year, both within my school and privately outside of school, supporting students of different ages and abilities. This experience has taught me how to adapt my teaching style to suit each student, making lessons engaging, clear, and confidence-boosting. My goal is not only to help students excel in their exams but also to inspire genuine interest in the subjects I teach. I take pride in helping students overcome challenges, strengthen their understanding, and reach their full potential. I’m a first-year Biochemistry student at UCL with 2 years’ tutoring experience. I achieved 2 A*s in Biology and Chemistry, As in Maths and Spanish, and scored 9s in all four at GCSE.
