About Oscar
I am currently a first-year aerospace engineer at UNSW, having graduated high school in 2025. I have always had a passion for math and have a strong practical and theoretical understanding of content in the HSC syllabus. I have a passion for helping students feel more confident and helping improve grades.

My lessons will focus on teaching students the reason behind what they are doing, not just giving them the answers. This will allow them to be able to make evident changes in grades, ability, and confidence. I will teach through a gentle and nurturing approach which will focus on building both skills and confidence.
Lesson length can range from half an hour to two hours depending on what is best for the student and will be aimed at students from grades 7-10 for standard and advanced math and 11-12 for advanced and extension one math. All ages and genders are welcome and will feel included. I received a 92/100 for my advanced math HSC and an E3 grade for extension one, and having only graduated last year, I have a very strong understanding of the syllabi and requirements of each course. My tutoring experience is within school volunteering at lunchtimes in a math tutoring session. Although I feel like I am well equipped to tutor students of any age.
