About Yanzy
Hello everyone! I was born and raised in Hong Kong, where Cantonese is my native language. In addition, I’m fluent in Mandarin, both spoken and written, and hold a First-Level Putonghua Proficiency Certificate. I’ve also won several Mandarin speech competitions. Currently, I’m in London pursuing my master’s degree.
As a fellow language learner, I understand the challenges students face when learning Chinese. My goal is to support students in achieving their language goals by offering personalized lessons tailored to their individual needs. I aim to create a welcoming environment where you can practice, build confidence, and improve your Chinese skills effectively. I look forward to helping you on your language-learning journey!

I rovide personalized Mandarin/Chinese tutoring for all ages and levels, both in-person and online. My lessons are interactive, practical, and playful, treating Mandarin/Chinese as a skill to be developed. In my language classes, I focus on speaking, listening, and reading and writing. My 50 minute lessons are designed to be flexible, allowing me to adapt content to suit each individual.
With four years of teaching experience across primary and secondary education, I’ve developed a highly personalized teaching approach. I believe that each student’s unique needs and daily life experiences should shape their learning journey.
