About Aleezah
I’ve always loved making sense of how the world works through economics, but I know it can often feel overwhelming or abstract when you're studying it for the first time. That’s exactly why I started tutoring... to help students move from confusion to confidence! Whether it's breaking down diagrams, explaining tricky concepts in plain English, or tackling essay questions together, I genuinely enjoy helping others get it, and feel proud of their progress. I’ve worked with students who just needed a bit of clarity, and others who had lost all confidence. Every time, my goal is the same: to provide calm, clear, supportive teaching that makes success feel possible. If you're feeling stuck, unsure, or want to push for a higher grade, I'd love to help you get there.

My lessons are tailored to the individual student — whether you're aiming for top grades or just want to feel more confident in class. I focus on breaking down complex ideas into simple, manageable steps and helping students build strong exam technique over time. I always encourage questions and aim to create a relaxed, no-judgement space where students feel comfortable asking for clarification — even on the basics. Typical lessons are 60 minutes long and include a mix of: 1. Concept explanations using real-world examples 2. Exam-style questions and mark scheme tips 3. Active recall techniques to strengthen memory 4. Structured feedback on written answers I hold a First-Class degree in Economics & Management from the University of Bristol and have strong experience with both GCSE and A-Level Economics (AQA, Edexcel, OCR) content. I’ve helped students improve essay structure, time management, and overall confidence in the subject. These lessons are ideal for: - GCSE & A-Level Economics students (any exam board) - Students preparing for mocks, resits or exams - Anyone needing extra support alongside school - Students who prefer clear, calm explanations and a bit of encouragement!
