I am Pedro, an enthusiastic student who loves asking difficult questions (which sometimes annoyed my teachers as they were never really sure how to answer them).
I went to university with this same mindset, and I want to continue my studies and later become a professor.
I love helping people and being challenged by other difficult questions students ask.

Having been a student myself, I understand the challenges that come with learning Maths and Natural Sciences. The traditional, uninspiring approach to teaching these subjects often leaves students feeling disconnected and unenthusiastic. I believe that teaching should be more than just a transfer of knowledge-it should stimulate the reasoning process and critical thinking, empowering students to tackle even the most difficult problems with confidence.
For the first lesson, I encourage the tutee to bring problems and topics they struggle with so I can assess their strengths and difficulties, shaping the way future classes will be taught. One hour per session is an adequate amount of time for that purpose.
My journey with tutoring began in high school, where I found joy in assisting my peers with Maths, Chemistry, and Physics. I conducted revision sessions and prepared comprehensive summaries of course materials, helping my colleagues grasp complex concepts. This personal experience has equipped me with a deep understanding of these subjects, which I am eager to share with you.
Having studied in another country, I do not hold the standard UK school qualifications. However, I have a strong foundation in Math, Chemistry, and Physics, and I am familiar with the UK curriculum and exams structure. I am more than willing to bridge any gaps in my knowledge to better serve my students.
