About Daniel
Hi, I’m Daniel. I graduated from the University of Warwick with a First-Class Master’s degree in Mathematics and I am currently studying an MSc in Computational Finance at UCL. At A-level, I achieved 3 A*s in Maths, Further Maths, and Chemistry.
I offer tutoring in GCSE Maths, GCSE Further Maths, A-Level Maths, AS Maths, and A-Level Further Maths. I have studied mathematics to a high level and enjoy helping students break down difficult topics into clearer, more manageable steps.
My teaching style is calm, patient, and focused on understanding. I know that maths can feel overwhelming when explanations are rushed or overly complicated, so I aim to explain ideas in a way that feels logical and intuitive. I can support students who want to improve their confidence, raise their grades, prepare for exams, or push towards top marks.

Lessons are usually 60 minutes, although I can be flexible depending on the student’s needs.
Each lesson can be tailored around the student’s goals, whether that means going through difficult topics, working on homework, revising for upcoming tests, or practising exam-style questions. I can cover pure maths, statistics, mechanics, and Further Maths topics.
My approach is to first identify where the student is struggling, then explain the topic clearly, work through examples together, and gradually build towards independent problem-solving. I also place a strong focus on exam technique, showing students how to structure answers, avoid common mistakes, and approach unfamiliar questions with confidence.
I am happy to offer lessons online, in person locally, or potentially travel depending on location and availability.
