I am now a Graduate Civil Engineer, I have grown up in Kumon as a student and had years of teaching as a student at school and university. I have had previous experience in Kumon(Highschool), First Class Learning(Year 10-Sixth Form) and Abacus Tutoring(University).

My teaching methodology is to allow students to understand topics through examples and enable them to complete questions independently. It is not enough for the student to explain examples and have someone show all the working out on screen as I believe the student should learn through experience. I think it is best to make mistakes early on so that they know their weaknesses and when it comes to tests and exams they will know exactly what to do.
