About Will
Having experienced both incredible and not-so-great teachers during my own school years, I know just how much of a difference a supportive and inspiring teacher can make. The best teachers I had weren’t just knowledgeable—they genuinely cared, pushed me to succeed, and made learning feel engaging and rewarding. That’s the kind of tutor I strive to be for my students. Communication is key to building trust and understanding what each student needs, so I make sure to create a safe, open environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and exploring their potential. I’m also highly organised and structured, which helps us set clear goals and track progress effectively. Outside of tutoring, I’m someone who loves connecting with people in all areas of life. I enjoy cooking new recipes, playing football with friends, and catching the latest films at the cinema. Ultimately, my goal is to make a real difference in each student’s journey, helping them build confidence, overcome challenges, and achieve their ambitions.

As a First-Class Law graduate from the University of Exeter, I’ve been working with a wide range of students over the years, from undergraduates to those preparing for Master’s applications. Tutoring has always been a passion of mine, and I love seeing my students grow in confidence and achieve their goals, whether it's acing an exam or securing a spot at their dream university.
*My Approach* I believe every student learns differently, so I adapt my teaching style to suit their individual needs. I focus on breaking down complex topics into manageable parts and use real-world examples to make concepts relatable. My sessions are interactive – questions are great! I encourage my students to think critically, and truly engage with the material. With a mix of structured guidance and flexible discussion, I aim to make each lesson both productive and enjoyable.
*Lesson Structure* Each lesson typically lasts about an hour, but I’m happy to adjust based on what works best for you. We’ll set clear goals for each session, whether that’s mastering a tricky topic, tackling past papers, or refining your personal statement.
*Experience* Over the years, I’ve helped students with a variety of needs, from helping undergraduates and master students and their performance to navigating university applications and interviews. Currently, I work in a fintech start-up, which brings a practical, problem-solving approach to everything I do, including tutoring.
