About Amy
Hi! I’m Amy, a Psychology graduate with First Class Honors in Psychology and a current Master of Teaching (Primary) student.
Psychology is a subject I am particularly passionate about, and I enjoy helping students move beyond memorizing theories and terminology to genuinely understand and apply psychological concepts.
My university studies, including my Honors research, have given me a strong academic foundation in psychology and research. I understand that students may find it challenging to connect theoretical knowledge with assessment questions, research methods and written responses, and I aim to make these skills more approachable.

I use clear explanations, examples, questioning and guided application to help students understand psychological concepts and theories. Depending on the student's needs, lessons can focus on understanding course content, applying theories to scenarios, developing research skills, interpreting information or improving assessment responses.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes and are tailored to the student's current course content, learning needs and goals. My aim is to help students become more confident in their understanding and more independent in applying psychological knowledge.
