About Rachael
Hi, I’m Rachael! I’m a 22-year-old First Class Honours graduate in Anthropology from Durham University, and I’m currently studying for a Master’s at the University of Liverpool. Whether you’re looking for one-off support with a tricky homework task or regular sessions to build exam confidence, my priority is to make sure you feel supported, assured, and confident in your learning journey.
I’m particularly familiar with the Cambridge, Edexcel, and AQA exam boards, and I offer flexible online tutoring in English, History, and Religious Studies for KS3 and GCSE students. I’ve always loved learning, reading, and sharing that passion with others.
I have hands-on experience working as a teaching assistant in an international school, supporting students from Early Years through to KS3. During my internship, I led Guided Reading sessions with GCSE students learning English as an additional language, and I also assisted with examination invigilation. These experiences have given me a strong foundation in adapting lessons to different needs and learning styles.

Lessons with me are flexible and tailored to your child’s needs. They can be as long or as short as you prefer, and each session can focus on exactly what will be most helpful; whether that’s building confidence in a particular topic, practising exam-style questions, or simply help with homework. The first lesson is completely free, giving your child the chance to see if they feel comfortable with my teaching style. Following this, the next session will serve as an introduction to the course, where we’ll agree on goals, identify key areas to work on, and outline a clear plan for future lessons.

Details
The first lesson with me is completely free, giving your child the opportunity to experience my teaching style and ensuring that you feel confident before committing further. After this, sessions are charged at £15 per hour, with the option of purchasing discounted lesson packs (5 hours for £50 or 10 hours for £150) to provide flexibility and value. All lessons are delivered online, and payment details will be arranged securely in advance. My priority is to make sure both you and your child feel supported, reassured, and confident in the learning process.
