About Gavin
I am a mature student, who has grown tired of regular jobs and decided to return to study. When I was studying as a teenager, I lacked the focus and ambition to strive for top marks, but thanks to my experiences since, I now possess an almost obsessive desire to achieve top grades. This desire has led to a deep investigation of what I take to succeed academically and I am keen to pass on what I have learned and the skills I have developed which have helped turn me from a below-par student into one who is able to achieve first-class grades more often than not.
I am focusing on GSCE history because I have studied the latest GSCE syllabus vigorously and have access to all the resources required for success at this level.

I am teaching GCSE History to those who are struggling or those who wish to ensure they achieve the best grade possible. I will teach you the fundamental skills required for success in history; there are rules and patterns which once understood and practised guarantee the highest results, my method will be to study these rules, polish up general study skills and fill my pupils with confidence so that they will feel bold enough to develop interesting arguments that are sure to grab the examiners attention.
