About Bethany
I fell in love with Art History while at school in Edinburgh. Following time living in Melbourne after my undergraduate degree I moved down to London to complete a MA in Colonial Architectural History at the Courtauld, graduating with Distinction in 2020.
The cross curricular power of Art History is immense. It’s a key with which so many doors in the study of English, Classics, French, History and Politics can be opened. I hope to be able to share this with you!

I have a number of years experience in tutoring 13-18 year olds in History of Art, as well as cross subject essay-writing support. My lessons are discussion led and bookended by the setting and review of clear goals and aims. As well as building students’ confidence in their subject ability, first and foremost sessions should be engaging and fun. I want each of my students to feel as they have a part in guiding the journey of each session and to be open and honest with me regarding how they prefer information to be shared and feedback to be given. As cheesy as it sounds team work really does make the dream work :)
