About Georgia
I wish to inspire creativity and confidence in students and help them to reach their full potential.
I have a First Class Honours degree in Philosophy, where I learnt to really develop my writing skills and creativity and understand how to communicate clearly and effectively.
I have worked with children for more than 5 years and understand that each individual has specific teaching styles that resonate with them. This, alongside my positive and encouraging attitude really helps my students to engage and perform to the best of their abilities.
I am reliable and organised, and prepare lessons in advance so that during the tutoring session there is complete focus on my student.

I consider each individual student's needs, strengths and learning style to create unique lesson plans that can help the student achieve their goals.
I use real-life scenarios and examples in my teaching that are relevant to the student's interests and needs in order to make the lessons engaging and memorable.
Lessons are typically 1 hour, however can be longer or shorter depending on what would benefit the student most.
I look to build up my student's confidence and motivation to learn.
I teach primary school aged children, as well as secondary school children working towards GCSEs and A Levels. I can also teach adult learners who are looking to build up their language or writing skills.
