About Feranmi

Hi, I’m Segun!
I am a dedicated Physics and STEM educator with a background in Electrical and Electronic Engineering. Throughout my academic and professional journey, I have had a deep fascination with how the physical universe works—from the flow of electrical current in a circuit to the fundamental laws of motion that govern physical systems. Today, my mission is simple: to help secondary and A-Level students unlock their full potential in Science and Mathematics, while building genuine academic confidence.
Why I Want to Teach:
Turning Confusion into 'Aha!' Moments: There is nothing more rewarding than seeing a student’s face light up when a concept that once seemed overwhelming—like circuit laws, calculus, or wave behaviour—suddenly makes total, logical sense.
Building Problem-Solvers, Not Rote-Memorisers: Science isn't just about memorising definitions for an exam; it’s about learning how to think. I teach to equip students with analytical frameworks that serve them far beyond the classroom.
Bridging the Gap to Exam Mastery: School classrooms move at a rapid pace, and bright students often miss key foundational steps along the way.

Specialist GCSE Science, A-Level Physics & Mathematics Tutor | QTS-Trained Exam Specialist

Struggling with STEM concepts—or aiming for top grades from KS3 up to A-Level?
Science and Mathematics require both clear conceptual understanding and sharp exam technique. Whether a student is building initial confidence in early secondary school, tackling GCSE exams, or taking on the rigorous demands of A-Level Physics and Maths, having structured, patient guidance makes all the difference.
I specialise in supporting learners at every stage of secondary education. Using clear visual scaffolds, step-by-step problem solving, and targeted exam practice, I help students simplify complex ideas, overcome learning hurdles, and achieve their full academic potential.
Why Parents & Students Choose My Tuition:
Complete Curriculum Alignment: Fully tailored to current AQA, Edexcel, and OCR specifications, command words, and mark schemes.
Clear, Scaffolding Approach: Abstract principles are broken down into logical, intuitive visual steps so students understand why ideas work rather than relying on rote memorisation.
Exam Technique & Calculation Mastery: Dedicated practice on decoding wordy exam questions, avoiding common calculation traps, and securing full marks on multi-step problems.
Interactive Digital Learning: Sessions feature high-resolution digital whiteboards, live problem walk-throughs, and instant past-paper feedback for dynamic, engaging online lessons.

Full Peace of Mind for Parents:
Enhanced DBS Checked (Registered on the UK Update Service).
Flexible Online Sessions via high-quality video software and collaborative digital whiteboards.
Proven Track Record in building confidence and raising grades across all secondary key stages.
