About Henry
I enjoy making complex scientific ideas feel much simpler and more approachable, which is what drew me to tutoring.
I know that science can sometimes feel overwhelming, especially when lessons move quickly or exam questions are difficult to interpret. My aim is to give students a relaxed, supportive environment where they can ask questions freely, strengthen their understanding and build confidence at their own pace.

offer friendly, personalised science tutoring designed to build both understanding and confidence, rather than simply memorising facts for an exam.
My lessons are tailored to each student. I first identify the areas they are struggling with, then break difficult topics down into clear, manageable steps using diagrams, examples, questions and real-world applications. Once the underlying concept is understood, we move on to exam-style questions and work on how to turn that knowledge into strong marks.
A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes and usually includes a short recap, focused teaching on a key topic, guided practice questions and a final review of what we have covered. I can also adapt lessons around upcoming exams, coursework or specific areas a student wants additional help with.

Details
My standard rate is £25 per hour for online tutoring. This includes lesson preparation and personalised support based on the student’s needs.
I can also offer reduced rates for regular weekly lessons or longer-term bookings. GCSE, A-Level and university-level support can all be tailored depending on the subject and level required.
