About Elliot
I hold a First Class degree in Film Studies from DeMontfort University where I was awarded 'Best Final Year Student' for the faculty of Media, Film and Journalism. All of my university essays and projects were scored within the 70 - 80 mark range (70+ being first class or higher/A or A+).
By profession, I am currently a TEFL English Teacher with over a years teaching experience both in-class and online. I have practical experience and worked on Star Wars: Episode IX (Abrams, 2019), The Witches (Zemeckis, 2021) and the Netflix production, Bridgerton (unreleased).

I can provide students with a supportive, structured and friendly approach to studying which will enable you to get the most from your subject at A-level or Degree level.
Our lessons will be structured around your current studies, specific modules or essay questions. We can work through and discuss any essays you may be writing or about to write. We can discuss different films/texts and examine them from theoretical or analytical perspectives. We can also discuss your university reading and I can guide you to extended reading, helping you to understand and improve your academic capabilities.
I enjoy film and media discussion and will be able to provide you with clear and helpful guidance in your studies. I look forward to speaking with you! (See below for my final year project for the module 'Film Production')
