I am an experienced tutor and Qualified Teacher (PGCE Mathematics, University College London). I also hold a First Class Honours from the University of Cambridge.

Every session I run is designed to be highly effective, supportive, and completely focused on the student's success. I move beyond simple content review to build deep, conceptual mastery. My sessions are based on the following 5 principles:
(1) Personalised & Diagnostic: I begin with a brief diagnostic to identify specific knowledge gaps and common misconceptions. Each session is entirely bespoke, with a customised learning path and tailored resources prepared specifically for the student.
(2) Expertly Curated Resources: I provide a wealth of high-quality, pre-prepared resources that support deep conceptual understanding, active recall, and rigorous exam preparation, ensuring material is perfectly aligned with the learning objectives and curriculum.
(3) Research-Informed Teaching: My methods are driven by advanced educational research. I use active, responsive teaching techniques to address misconceptions immediately and ensure students aren't just memorising, but truly understanding the material.
(4) Confidence & Independence: I create a warm, supportive learning environment that helps student feel confident, motivated, and genuinely engaged in their subjects. Alongside academic content, I teach the study habits and reflective skills that empower students to learn effectively.
