About Naman
Hi, I’m Naman. I recently completed my Master’s in International Economics and Finance, and I have a strong academic and professional background in mathematics, statistics and quantitative analysis.
Throughout my studies and work in finance, I’ve used these skills for everything from statistical analysis and forecasting to financial modeling and working with large datasets. This has helped me understand how mathematical concepts are actually applied beyond textbooks.
I want to teach because I know that Maths and Statistics can sometimes feel much more complicated than they need to be. I enjoy breaking difficult concepts down into simple steps and helping someone reach the point where a problem finally makes sense.
I’m patient, approachable and happy for students to ask as many questions as they need. My aim is not just to help students get the right answer, but to help them understand how to get there confidently on their own.

I believe maths becomes much easier when you understand the reasoning behind a problem rather than simply memorizing formulas. My lessons focus on breaking down Maths, Statistics and Algebra into clear, manageable steps and working through problems together at a pace that suits each student.
I like to start by understanding where a student is struggling, explain the concept using simple examples, and then gradually move to practice questions so they can build confidence solving problems independently.
My academic background includes a Master’s degree in International Economics and Finance, where I worked extensively with mathematics, statistics, quantitative analysis and financial modeling.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes and are suitable for school students, university students, or anyone looking to strengthen their foundations in Maths, Statistics or Algebra. I’m happy to adapt each lesson to the student’s current level, coursework and learning goals.
