About Hena
Hi! I’m a Finance graduate with a strong passion for education and helping students succeed. I enjoy making challenging concepts easier to understand and creating a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and building their confidence.
I tutor Mathematics, English, and Economics, tailoring each lesson to the individual student’s needs, goals, and learning style. Whether you’re preparing for exams, catching up on coursework, or aiming for top marks, I focus on developing a solid understanding of the material while improving problem-solving and critical thinking skills. In addition to English, I also speak Hindi and Gujarati and can explain concepts in these languages if that helps students feel more comfortable and understand the material more effectively.

My approach to tutoring is centred on building confidence and helping students truly understand concepts rather than memorising answers. I adapt my teaching style to each student's learning needs, explaining topics in simple, practical ways and encouraging questions throughout the lesson. Lessons are typically 60 minutes long, but I am flexible depending on the student's age, goals, and preferences. Each session is structured to review previous material, cover new concepts, and reinforce learning through guided practice. I offer tutoring in Mathematics, English, and Economics for primary school and high school students
