About Jack
I taught basic accounting, managerial accounting financial accounting, cost accounting and finance. I know most of the general misconceptions held by the students. The vocabulary in accounting is different than that used in common usage. Debt and credit mean left and right, not good and bad. Sailors talk about port and starboard, not left and right. You have to learn the vocabulary of the trade.
