About Jerry
Traverse through the ups and downs of school life to know enough about family pressure, peer pressure and academic pressure. I am ready to prepare you for academic success while also showing you how to apply what you learn outside the classroom. I am also very keen on helping you learn through building cool stuff. I am an engineer after all. I have experience as a club leader, group leader for university courses, and project leader. Once we achieve your academic goals, we can take on more cool design projects. We can do more mentoring sessions so you can show off to your friends, family, and even industry professionals, so they can see how your innovation can change the world!
At the university, I am co-leading a multidisciplinary team developing a mechanical heart (or Total Artificial Heart) for life-support purposes for the international Heart Hackathon competition. I have also done research in virtual reality. I play guitar here and there. I also like making fun electronics to surprise my friends.

I am happy to teach years 11 to 13 to prepare you for the future ahead (applying for university, internships, etc.).
I have teaching experience as a teaching assistant at the university. My approach to teaching is to understand what you are unsure of, ask whether you have tried other approaches, and give you feedback on your answer. I want to help you learn better so you can focus on enjoying the topics rather than stressing about not understanding. However, I understand that there can be times when you need immediate help for an exam or test. I am flexible and willing to provide the best academic support to help you achieve a high-quality outcome.
