About Amy
Hi! My name is Amy, and I am looking forward to teaching here on SuperProf.
I have almost finished my Bachelor's Degree in English, and have spent the last year working on other platforms teaching A-level Politics. I would like to expand my horizons and gain more experience, while also returning in some capacity to my previous studies at A-level.

My lessons will be around an hour long, and will be centred around the needs of my students.
Generally, a lesson will begin with some quiz-style questions surrounding a topic that the student is unsure of. We will discuss in detail the answers to these questions and their implications, and then we will apply said answers to an exam-style question.
This can be changed depending on the student's needs. For example, some students are confident with the curriculum content but need help with structuring essays - in this case, practice questions will be foregrounded rather than quizzes.
I took A-level Politics under AQA in 2023 and received an A.
I have taught a number of students on other platforms and have familiarised myself with the current specification for both AQA and Edexcel boards.
