About Annie
I am currently in my final year of a double degree Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering and Business (Finance) student at QUT, and I plan to start a Masters of Secondary Teaching in February 2023. I have been tutoring professionally for over a year and am confident in assisting students with most Primary subjects, years 7-10 Maths and Science, as well as years 11 and 12 Physics, Essential and General Maths.

My approach to tutoring involves figuring out early how the student learns and what adjustments we may need to make to the lessons to ensure they're getting the most out of their tutoring experience. I want students to feel comfortable enough with me that they can admit when they don't understand something and aren't embarrassed to do so. I'm not necessarily invested in the student going from an A- to and A+ (unless that's their specific goal), I want the student to feel confident in their understanding when approaching assessments, and get them to the point where they feel as though they can at least attempt questions, without straight away turning to me and saying they don't understand.
