About
I am a final-year medical student with a strong academic background and a genuine passion for helping students achieve their goals. As the first person in my family to attend university, I understand how difficult it can be to navigate the journey towards higher education without knowing exactly what to expect or where to start.
Throughout medical school, I have consistently achieved Distinctions in my examinations, and I achieved Grade 9s in GCSE Maths, Biology and Chemistry, alongside A* grades in A-level Maths and Biology and an A in A-level Chemistry. I also achieved a top-decile score in the UCAT and have previously supported students with their UCAT preparation and medical school applications.
I want to use my experience to help students feel more confident in their abilities and make academic goals that may initially seem daunting feel achievable. Whether that means helping a GCSE student understand a difficult topic, supporting someone preparing for the UCAT, or helping a prospective medical student prepare for interviews, I want to provide the guidance and support that I would have valued when I was in their position.

My approach is centred around making lessons personalised, engaging and focused on achieving measurable progress. For our first lesson, I identify your strengths, areas for improvement and individual goals, then tailor each subsequent lesson to your needs and learning style.
For GCSE Maths, Biology and Chemistry, I combine clear explanations of difficult concepts with worked examples, exam-style questions and practical exam technique. I focus on helping students understand why something works rather than simply memorising information, while regularly revisiting weaker areas to build confidence and long-term retention.
For UCAT preparation, I use a structured approach that focuses on understanding the different question types, developing effective strategies and improving timing. Having achieved a top-decile UCAT score myself, I can provide insight into the techniques and approaches that helped me succeed.
For medical school interview preparation, I aim to make students comfortable discussing common interview topics while developing their communication, reasoning and confidence. I use realistic interview questions, mock interviews and detailed feedback to help students identify and improve areas of weakness.
I aim for every lesson to be supportive but appropriately challenging, with clear goals and constructive feedback so that students can see their progress over time.
