About Jalal
Hi! My name is Jalal, and I’m a high school senior currently enrolled in the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme. I take Higher Level courses in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry, all at a college level. With a strong academic background and a passion for helping others, I offer tutoring that is not only effective but also encouraging and easy to follow. As someone who has recently studied the material myself, I know how to explain it in a relatable and student friendly way. I understand the challenges students face because I’ve been through them too. My goal is to help you build confidence in math and develop real understanding — not just memorize formulas. As a current IBDP high school senior taking college level Math, Physics, and chemistry courses. I know how overwhelming math can feel, especially when it’s not taught in a way that clicks. My teaching method is focused on making math simple, intuitive, and even fun. I break down complex ideas into small, understandable parts using real world examples and step by step guidance.
I tailor every session to the student’s needs and learning pace. I emphasize understanding why something works, not just how to do it
Typical lesson plan:
Intro (5min): Quick review of previous content or a short quiz
Explanation (20 min): Clear explanation with guided examples
Practice (20min): Student-led problem-solving with my support
Wrapping things up (5min): clarification, and plan for next session
Session are for students in Grades 6–10
Those learning Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Geometry, and Pre-Calculus.
